Meet the adjoining sister cottage cottage in the duplex, Cabana Two (formerly Tandem 2.) Parallel to the turn of 79th Ave., this cottage is also only a few steps away from the ocean shore. With a large mural on the street side and a mini mural next to the West Gulf Boulevard-facing door (added post photo), there will be no confusion as to which is your entrance!
Cabana Two Cottage
Cabana Two is a one bedroom, one bathroom cottage. Its location is prime, the beach directly across from the street side entrance, and the back door opening directly into the courtyard with outdoor shower access.
The living space in Cabana 2 provides you with ample room to entertain. Mounted on the wooden wall is a large TV flush to the wall for you to watch while eating, built-in with a swivel feature for the option of watching with ease from the sofa. Seating in this space includes two dining chairs and a futon sofa that doubles as a full bed. There is a roll-away cart in the corner, for a kitchen work station or to use as your personal bar-cart. Tabletop spaces include an expandable dining table/workspace, a lightweight, round metal coffee table, and a couple of steel side tables for your drinks, books, and devices.
The kitchen space looks out into our courtyard. Cabinets are stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans. Appliances include a full sized retro refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, blender, and remote controlled A/C. We recommend swinging by the Treasure Island Publix on the way to Sunset to pick up your vacation groceries or having them delivered via Instacart. (Click the link to check hours.)
The bedroom windows overlook 79th avenue, while maintaining a sense of privacy with large palms planted outside. Both blinds and curtains are in place to filter as much light as possible. The bed offers a new hybrid mattresses (pillow top coil with memory foam) and all white, fresh clean bedding. For storage there is a small closet across from the bed, a standing dresser, and additional storage space located in the hallway between rooms. There is a wall unit A/C and an overhead fan.
We thoughtfully selected every item you see in each room at Sunset Inn & Cottages. Our walls host original art and there are vintage or modern retro accessories throughout the property.
The shelf in the living room is filled with everything you might need to entertain - silicone wine glasses, a retro style ice bucket, and of course, some of your favorite nostalgic games!
We hope you enjoyed our informal tour of Cabana 2 at Sunset Inn & Cottages and that it answered any questions you may have. If you'd like more information on the rates and availability, please click here.
